Alex in Adultland

This week has been so so so busy I haven’t had a minute to write about the awesomeness that was last weekend.  Saturday I woke up, had brunch with Neighbor Girl.  Then I went and drank/watched the rugby game for awhile with my co-worker and his girlfriend at Sheep Station bar in Park Slope.  From there, already half drunk, I went and met H, who had an extra ticket to a The Kills concert at Terminal 5.  If you’ve never been to Terminal 5, it’s this unbelievable, three story venue on the hardcore west side. 

I haven’t been to a live music show in a really really long time, so I was insane excited.  The energy of a large scale concert like this is unreal.  Ultimately, I had the best time I’ve had in awhile.  I was also the drunkest I’ve been in awhile, so sunday was less cool.  Worth it though. 

This picture is of the Hunters, who opened for them.  Mediocre music, but damn if they didn’t put on a great show.  I’d see them again.
