Alex in Adultland

I have a friend who I went to middle school with and then ran into at a bar not to long ago, whom may have been mentioned before on this blog, but we will now call her History.  History went to Columbia and so is pretty settled in the city.  She invited me to a party on Friday night where I got to meet new people and try new things. 

I also got to hardcore cheat on my diet with several slices of a birthday cake from Magnolia’s.  You know your life is urban when you’re drunk snacking on a layered chipolata chocolate pound cake with layers of coffee cream cheese frosting. 

I brought that bottle of tequila by the way.
